Southerland Aggie Leadership Scholarships

The J. Malon Southerland Aggie Leader Scholarship program was created to recognize and reward students involvement at Texas A&M University. Unlike some scholarships, the primary criteria in the decision process will be leadership and involvement. This scholarship reflects Texas A&M University’s commitment to learning, leadership, and service both in and out of the classroom.

The scholarship was named in honor of J. Malon Southerland, former TAMU Vice President for Student Affairs.

Eligibility

You must be an undergraduate, graduate or professional student who has completed at least one semester at Texas A&M University at the time of application.
You must be full-time in a degree-granting course of study and have a satisfactory conduct record. Students may not be on academic or other probation.
You must have a minimum cumulative GPR of 2.5 for undergraduate students or a 3.0 for graduate/professional students at Texas A&M University.
